SwissQRBills Roadmap: What We've Shipped and What's Next

A transparent look at recent SwissQRBills releases and the features planned for upcoming versions — including multi-user access and multi-currency invoicing.

RoadmapProduct

We believe in building in the open. Here's what's landed recently in SwissQRBills, what's coming next, and one capability you might not know about.

Recently shipped

  • ESTV e-filing export (eCH-0217 v2.0.0) — export your MwSt declaration as the official XML and upload it directly into «MWST-Abrechnung pro» on the ESTV portal.
  • Both reporting methods — full support for the effective method and the Saldosteuersatz (net tax rate) method, on quarterly or half-yearly periods, vereinbart or vereinnahmt, including correction declarations (Korrekturabrechnung).
  • Recurring invoices — monthly, quarterly, or yearly templates with a scheduled first run.
  • Customer country & foreign supplies — automatic Ziffer 221 handling for clients abroad.

On the roadmap

These appear marked "(on the roadmap)" on our pricing page — they're planned, not yet available:

  • Multi-user access — invite colleagues to your organisation with roles and per-plan seat limits (up to 3 on Pro, 10 on Business).
  • Multi-currency invoicing — issue invoices in additional currencies (Swiss QR-bills themselves remain CHF/EUR per the SIX standard).

We'd rather show these honestly as planned than imply they already exist. If one of them matters to you, let us know — it helps us prioritise.

Available now: the SwissQRBills MCP for AI

SwissQRBills exposes a secure API and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, so you can work with your accounting data through AI assistants like Claude. Ask questions like "who owes me money?" or "what's my MwSt for Q1?" and let the assistant read your invoices, expenses, and VAT figures directly — using a scoped API key you create in Settings. It's how a lot of this product was built and tested, and it's open to Pro and Business plans today.

As always, your data stays in Switzerland.
